First Sonar 7 HS project

I just completed my first production since I've upgraded to Sonar 7HS.
Marius Amado-Alves and I are working on several of his compositions, for this song, Marius wanted the guitar and bass parts played live. The drums are from his original MIDI score with Toontrack's EZ-drummer synth.

this is not my style of music so please take my critice lightly......
OVERALL: needs some db's.........vol. was a little low.....
I did like your vox and bgv.......although near the end it kinda of overpowered the other instruments
I liked your song structure as well.........
If this were my tune I would go back and try to repolish / mix the track just a little........nothing major....add some db's and I think you will be there....
but it is a good tune.......

    Grant,
Congrats on your first project in 7. Nice idea. I hear some issues with guitars sounding too distorted. The cymbals are way too bright on my speakers to the point of sounded distorted also. I know this is a WIP so you may be working on those but since you posted it, I assume you were looking for some critique on it. I'll check back to see if you post newer takes on this one.

Hey, Grant! interesting stereo vox! this is an interesting song. you do need to get some clarity on the mix and bring the levels up - everything's muddied together.

    good work so far!

Thanks fellows, I think I'm going to do one of the guitar tracks over that seems to be making the mix more difficult. I used my new P rails pickup for most of it but I laid the track down during the chorus before it got here, I will replace that one and work on the mix a little more. Thanks again
