First Sonar X3 mix -- from live show -- uploaded to YouTube
I posted this in the Sonar X forums because it involved the new X3 version (and also that's where I usually hang out), but the songs forum is probably a better home for sharing this upload to YouTube; it features my band playing in Los Angeles last month (my daughter on backing vocals there btw). We play a mixture of prog, jazz, folk tunes.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve0gKptopXY

The mix sounds well here, sounds like your are enjoying X3. Thanks for sharing.

Nice mix on this end. I liked the bottles of water on the floor of the stage and the drummer even had his own holder and so did the guitar player on the right. I have never seen that before in a video. Very unique. I'm just being funny!! Very nicely done and a cool song. Congrats ! Peace and Blessings, John

Cool video Peter! Your daughter has a beautiful voice too. :) It's great to be able to share your music with your kids! Especially when you are playing at such a high level. Playing and production were both excellent.

Thanks Walt, that was very nice of you to say. I agree about sharing music with kids; something I imagined but never really thought it would come off as well as it did in this show. I just needed (or wanted) a backup singer to mimic the studio recordings of my lead singer and offered the opportunity to my daughter even though she'd never been in a rock band before, let alone in a live gig like that. Within two minutes of our first rehearsal I knew everything was going to be okay; she was like one of the guys & gals, and kind of forgot about the parental relationship. I lucked out, and the moment will improve further with time :-)

Cool stuff. Is it rock? Jazz? Prog? I don't know, but it surely is interesting. Talking 'bout kids, my boy is too young now, but I must admit, it would be my greatest wish if we somehow wud play music together in any given way. How could you overlook your daughters talent for such a long time then...?

I enjoyed listening to this. You all deserve kudos for such a good job. Did you make many tweaks to the mix? It comes off sounding clean and polished.

This was really cool, I like the whole thing a lot. I love live music and X3! Interesting song...did you write it? Very well done. I love your guitar, I used to have a Godin a few years back. It was one I should have kept, but it wasn't as nice as yours.
