First Song Recorded w/ Sonar - Have a Listen!
hey - just finished my first recording using sonar.. anyone able to give some review/constructive criticism?
http://myspace.com/pinewoodderby
it should just start auto-playing - if not, it's the first song on the list, called Uncross Your Eyes, click on download underneath it.
thanks!

Hi Jack,
I really like this song. The singers have a great voices as well and do some great harmonies. Unfortunately, the vocals seem to me to be buried in the mix. Also, the drums seem awfully loud to me.
Same goes for the guitar solo - it is a great solo, but could be brought out more.

Agreed with the above. Sounds great but the vocals are burried. How do you have everything panned? It sounds like you may have some things are stepping on other.

thanks fellas! i redid the mix, but the vocals are still too low i think... i think i got myself in a bad habit of putting vocals too low in the mix because i didnt like the sound of my own singing before i got the female singer who actually sounds good.
and stardog what is a zen? sounds cool though im very flattered thank you! :)
