Good playing. I'll assume you have some kind of lead instrument or vocal in mind that you are going to add to this. It's a good rhythm track but needs some icing if you know what I mean.

cool, thanks for the feedback. I'll bring down the volume on the drums and frost up the guitars a bit. I got a singer coming over tonight, lets see what he can do. Again thanks for the comments, helps getting a second listen from people who do the same thing

WOW!!!!! Timidi...your music is amazing. Your vocals on To See an Angel on your Never Let You Go CD sounds great. Question: what vocal set up did you use (mic, preamp, etc...) Thanks for you comments

I like the basic music. It's a good song and will be better with vocals AND lead guitar or whatever you use. Nice bass playing. I don't know, but there seems to be a muddy tinge to it. Now if no one else says that then it probably isn't. Maybe a bit of distortion or effect off the guitar. Just a suggestion. I think our last tune has a bit of the same problem but I think it's too late now. Mastering might fill it out. I don't know. Anyway, I am looking forward to the finished product.

Sounds like the basis for good tune, nice driving beat, agree with the others about adjustments and the need for either a lead/vocal or both. Welcome and thanks for sharing.

The Pugtones are awesome, I used a distorted FX on the bass (Line6 MotoX) gives it some balls. The singer came by last night, I made him a copy and he's going to work on some lyrics. He's the same dude that song on some of those others songs i have out on soundclick Thanks for digging it Wookie, you got some sweet tunes as well, love the Pink Floyd feel. Animals by Floyd is my favorite album. I saw Roger Waters perform The Wall last year......blow my mind!!!!

Mitchell I liked the way the base of the song flowed. I thought the guitars and bass altogether sounded somewhat on the mushy, muddy side though. There wasnt much tonal separation between the instruments. It was good to hear some vocals added, it helped to pull it together. Good bopping beat my man!

MT, good to see you here. What bitrate did you use for your MP3 upload? I am hearing that kind of swirly distortion you get with a low bitrate, and I'm not sure we are hearing an accurate representation of the song. Does your song sound the same in your project as it does on Soundclick? Playing and execution sound good, so far, but the playback just seems a bit off.

Robert B I think I am having a low bitrate issue. When I play it on my CW project it sounds better. Even the MP3 version on my Windows Media Player sounds better. Any recommendations? The master mix wave file was saved at 32bit from the CW project I'm using Switch Sound File Converter to convert Wave file to MP3, would you recommend something better Does Sound Click have a bitrate upload option? I'm stoked that people are digging it. I have another song that I'll be putting on here. Thanks for everyone's input. It helps

mtgonzalez The master mix wave file was saved at 32bit from the CW project Export at 16bit/44,100. The converters can handle it much better. I suspect much of the muddiness, distortion, low level issues will disappear. That 32bit export is good for tracks that you will be bringing back into Sonar for further editing/refinement.
