"First Tracks"
https://soundcloud.com/ba...w-bats-brew-album-stay Sun is shining through the trees, Diamond dust is everywhere Cold air tastes just like a breeze In the desert solitaire Now I’m standing at the edge, Pulling down like gravity Champagne powder and the butterflies, Falling so happily First Tracks, Cold Thrill, Wind and Tree Big Grin, Addict’s mind, Follow me. Suddenly I can see Wide open fields below, Speed is my friend Where I want to go Straight down the sun will shine, It will carry me Down the spine, Stone Free. Pillow drift and butterflies, Champagne on ice Cold smoke can dry your eyes, Knee deep is so nice.

Yeah, what he said. Sorry to say, but there's really nothing all that unexpected here. Completely rockin' guitars and vocals as per usual. And as Allan mentioned, the solo is really cool - funky yet shreddin'. It reminded me a little of Nuno for some reason. Oh... and "Diamond dust is everywhere" Love that line.

HA, don't be sorry about nuthin'! thanks steve... Nuno, i dig nuno, he's off the charts... i had diamond dust in my own back yard, from about early december until just this last week, when we had a heat wave and melted the 3 feet of snow i had in the yard... worst february EVER, for snowfall up at the top of the cottonwood canyons, bitterly disappointing, and even more than that, alarming.

i did, but this is actually a re-mastered version... so nobody has heard this version before. and i figure, barely any of the folks that blow thru here got to hear it last time, and i only leave them up for a week at the most, that i'd re-post it for those that missed it.
