Fit to measure a clip

Hello Cakewalkers!!!
I would like to know if it is possible to fit a clip to measure when you record in real time?

Regards.

If you set the metromome to the tempo you are playing then yes this is so.

    Thank you for the answer.
My problem is the borders of the clip does not fit to the measure when I record in realtime. If I record some events in 2:1:0 border start at this point and there are a hole from 1:1:0 to 1:1:960

Clip boundaries are defined by the starting and ending time of the first and last events in the clip. In general there's no need to include empty space in a clip, though it can simplify arranging in some cases. Proper use use of snap settings (i.e. Snap By instead of Snap To) and/or clip Offsets will allow you to preserve the relative position of the events as you copy or move the clip around the project.

But if you really want clips with empty space in them, workarounds are:

     - Insert a 'dummy' event in the clip to define an earlier or later boundary; CC64=0 (sustain pedal up) is a good choice.

    - Convert the clip to a Groove Clip (Ctrl+L), and set the the start time and Beats in Clip values in clip properties to define the boundaries you want.

Sorry I assumed you were talking about recording audio in real time.
