Fivos/ Celtic Starise Collaboration
Fivos well known is a pianist from Greece. He had an idea for a song called " Upside Down" According to him he got the song in a dream. I added additional piano in places, bouzouki, guitar and pads. He left a lot of room for additional parts, so I took advantage of that and added where it seemed to fit best. It was a pleasure working with Fivos. https://soundcloud.com/st...-starise-collaboration

This is wonderful Tim. Really like it. A couple of times the piano got a little lost in the mix.

Beautiful. That's all I can say. Well, of course I'll say more :) -- The chord changes and the instrumentation are very creative and pleasing -- I listened to a few other of your pieces and was similarly impressed. The mixes are wonderful. Good good work -- and a good listen. btw, I'm impressed with the large following you have on Soundcloud -- it must be great to have so many fans :) Allan ====

Yeah, it's a great blend of piano and you. IMO it doesn'necessarily sound as though they were at all done separately, which I suppose is the idea! About he mix though... it seems very centered, almost mono. Was that intentional?

Daryl- Thanks! After another listen I can hear some of the piano parts I added being a bit weak. I'll try and correct that. Thank you for pointing that out! Allan- Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment! I'm glad to hear that you like what I'm doing. It is good to have people who support what I do on SC . I try to listen to followers music as well. I make it a point to give attention to those closer followers who keep some kind of a connection. Wookie- Thanks for listening man! Much appreciated! SteveC- Thanks! It wasn't intentional to loose the stereo image. I recorded a lot of parts in dual mono and panned them which usually gives a feeling of space. I did keep the panning closer to the center. Maybe I should move some of the parts more in the image. I admit I didn't put as much time into this mix as some others. I'm learning violin and that's taking a bunch of my time after work now.
