Flickering cursor after being in X1

Argh!  This is driving me nuts this morning.  I've opened X1 a few times to run some tests.  While in the program my cursor behaves normally.  But upon exiting X1, my cursor is flickering like crazy - hard to click on things, hard to look at.  I guess I need to re-boot.  But what the...?  Anyone else have this happen?
