A new walking-speed pop song. Kinda light with a kickin bass/bass drum, and a cool kinda of solo on baritone bugle. How'z it?

Anybody else feeling an 80's vibe? (Just picture the music video possibilities, but "Video Killed The Radio Star" or perhaps "Internet Killed The Video Star"?)

Wonderful mix with the simplicity within the composition and arrangement. I like how some things are solely A440 (or were they either by manual tuning or I thought I caught a healthy dose of chorus applied?)

The vocals were pretty good, too!

    Nice job!

    nice song Davdud.
Recording-wise there is a fair bit of distortion on the low end.

I really like this song.  The panning is a bit unusual in places, like where the lead vocal was in the left channel, but overall it works.  The lead vocal and lyrics are cool, and I like the synth that plays throughout.  I didn't hear the low end distortion.  That doesn't mean it's not there, but just not on my system.  Daryl has good ears, so I would investigate that.  All in all, I like your style.

    All the best,

Hey, Old55 - Thanks! I put some hard work hours into this one. It even now still isn't perfect, but it at the least meets my personal standards.

Rus, I'm gonna be honest- Even after a healthy dose of Google and YouTube, I have yet to understand what you're talking about. I'm even more befuzzled (bemused + confused + puzzled) about the A440... is that in reference to the key? The pitch? Cuz yup, I tapped on Autotune for this one, with it being such a poppy/mechanical song (rather than folkk-ish/'woody'). Thanks a bunch though! [I really wanna get a grip on all those referneces]

daryl, thanks for nlistening to it! nlistening. that was an accident, but a cool one. Anyway, I'll admit that I didn't get it through my heaphones, nor my cheap-ish earbuds, nor my stereo. Not even with X-Bass technology on. I think the biggest offender there is the kick synced with the bass synth to strengthen it, so maybe so...

Wassup, Lynn! Thanks a bunch for listening and following (a lot)! I wanted this one to really have an 'Owl City' feel to it (actually this whole project is kinda inspired by his music), and that influenced my instrument choice a lot. Thanks again!

Very nice tune! Kinda light and catchy. Nice job...I think I missed the bugle, though
