Focusrite 24 dsp

I bought the saffire 24 dsp with VRM excellent I must say, with the AT2035 it works well only that on using it I had problems with the software that I'm using I dont know if any of you have ever heard of Sonar. It slows down...and drops out using multi thread (processing) I know some one who is studying at the moment and they said there is a memory leak due to the way the software was programmed. Im just wondering, is the multi thread fixed in X1 therefore, allowing for memory to be utilized in a competent way or will using Ableton Live be the answer going forward and not being a hog on my cpu. I am thinking whether jumping ship to something that will not be a resource hog maybe a better option than waiting for a group of individuals who are learning how to program properly and insisting on updates that you may have to wait until the next version of....before your DAW can keep up with the technology of the day even though they spout on about 64bit. Did you think I was talkin about Sonar (how dare I) I'm talking about REAPER!
