Focusrite Pro14 - MixControl 2.2 doesn't always launch in some apps (44.1 -> 48 problem)
I hope someone here has run into this problem and solved it.
This is not Sonar-related, just a cry for help from the conventional wisdom out there.
I run Windows 7 64-bit SP1 and sometimes in an audio application I find that it starts up at 44.1 kHz.
I have Windows sound (Speakers Property) control panel settings at 24-bit 48 Khz Studio quality, and my default Focusrite MixControl 2.2 setting is 48 Khz.
Despite all that, the app comes up in 44.1 kHz playback.
If I try to change the setting, there may be an ASIO control panel launch button in the app - but MixControl won't launch. Even if I launch the app as administrator, I still can't get it to launch MixControl.
So there is no way I can get 48 kHz for these apps. It's not a big deal, just a mystery - and I hate unsolved mysteries.
