Focusrite Red Plugin Suite problem

Hi,
I am using Sonar X1 Producer and Win 10 Home 64 bit and I am having problems getting the Focusrite plugin suite to work within Sonar.
 
I find when I open my project and move any of the Red 2 EQ or Red 3 Compressor dials on a track, then the plugins are active. However, after closing the Project and opening it up again, the plugin settings are as I left them but there is no effect from the plugins when I run the project, until I move the dials again.
 
I wondered if anyone has successfully used this plugin suite and if so, with what version of Sonar? Comments would be much appreciated.
