Focusrite isa one Vs. Solo 610. which one is better for vocals..

if you have tested out Both i will want your opinion.

Which sound better for vocals?

i cant test it out right now since i got family over.

thanks for your opinion.

    I can't comment on the Solo 610...but I have Saffire..which is a focusrite product.... I recommend it highly.

    I don't know for sure... but I would think... in the digital world, the more important link in the vocal chain would be the microphone. The microphone, more than the interface, would shape the sound that is recorded.

    Any quality digital recording interface should be able to do...at a minimum... CD quality sound into the software. It should be "transparent" and let the nuances of the microphone shape the sound.

    Just my thoughts....

    And I can't comment on the Focusrite, but the 610 is quite nice. It's a very good DI for bass and guitar and a really nice vocal pre-amp, if you are wanting a warm, vintage sort of sound.
