Fonts Problem - Please check Edit/Preferences/Customization/Colors combobox controls

I posted my question to e-mail support about 3 weeks ago but I am not getting answers from Cakewalk support. I'll try ask here:

Some of my dialogs and forms are distorted and I suspect it may be a problem with a font or two on my PC.

Specifically, if I open Edit/Preferences, at the bottom, the text 'Basic' and 'Advanced' are much bigger than other text and they overlap the line above them.

And in 'Customization/Colors', the word 'Presets' (top right) is much too big and it pushes the associated text box to the right and it overlaps the buttons to it's right.

Also, the white text in the grey header bars everywhere looks too big, spilling over the bottom edge of the boxes. And the heading in 'Audio Meter' with the text 'Rise/Fall ...(etc) spills out the right side of the box, too.

This has been like this since I installed Sonar for the first time on this PC (Windows 7 x64 German). It exists on all installed X-series and Splat installs. Sonar 8 is fine.

I still have my old XP PC (also German) 32bit laptop which still has X1 installed, and that looks correct.

So I suspect some font is missing or has a Germanic translation or is corrupted on my PC.

My question: what is the file name of the fonts for these two types of control and where would I look for them?

It would be a simple question for support to answer but perhaps someone here knows?
(My updates are up-to-date)

Check the system display of fonts etcat Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display. Try 100% for the text size and see if that works; perhaps there's a custom scaling level.

Not saying this is the problem, but you can at least try the above to make sure it isn't the problem, and move on from there.

    Thanks for responding.

    It is set to 100%.

Could I ask you to check one more thing, please?

    In Edit/Preferences/Customization/Colors,on my Win7 x64 German PC,
the 'Presets' combobox is an old-fashioned one with a white text area.
Also, the word "Presets" is in a jagged, old-fashioned Windows XP style font.

Immediately below is the 'Color Category' combobox.
But this combobox has a modern, bulged-out metal-grey look.
And the words "Color Category" are in a smooth ClearType sort of font (Segoe ui?)

Can you confirm that yours also looks like that?

(If I look at Sonar X1 on my old XP 32bit machine, both comboboxes have the same, old-fashioned XP look - no surprise.)

I can confirm that those two text boxes are different on mine (not quite as you describe, but it may depend on what OS you are using - I'm on Windows 10).  The "Color Category" text and contents do appear to use Clear type whereas the "Presets" doesn't.
