'Fool's Riddle'

Hi folks, here's a new guitar/synth instrumental with bass by my good pal Ed Kocol.

    Drums sound especially good.

    Yep, nice instrumental piece this James. I made the mistake, through my own laziness, of listening through my earbuds, which didn't do justice to Ed's bass. On my second listen, using my KNS-8400 headphones, and what a difference...

    Excellent work guys! The song hold together really well, and the mix is very good. The synth touches throughout are perfect and really add to the song.

    This mix sounds pro and the musicality is quite tasty!
     
    One crit, or maybe just a thing to check, you have a very high pitched Epiano or synth line being featured, starting around :56 - does that EPiano (or synth maybe?) come in a hair early sometimes?
     
    I really, really liked the tremolo on the guitar, in perfect sync with the beat. Particularly when it's featured in the intro. Really nice there . .

    Thanks Tom! The sync'd trem was a happy accident, the BPM just happened to fit the guitar patch  Good ears on the epiano, that's played in real-time. I'm not too dextrous on keys and couldn't seem to quantize it correctly, so left it as was.
