This is incredbly moving and superbly performed.
So much passion in the vocals and very appropriate words that convey the futility of war and the affect it has on people.

Thanks, James  There are a lot of newer people here that didn't get to experience this song back when you originally posted it. I loved it then, and it remains a favorite (obviously). Excellent version, by the way.

Never heard this before - so thanks for re-posting.
Always wondered what SMB with vocs would sound like and now I know. The ambience here is just about perfect, the oboe parts in particular. Having grown up with my sisters attempts to play the oboe, it's an instrument I geberally tend to overlook in my own work (too many painful memories !) but as demonstrated here it can be a quite beautiful instrument.
Really nice piece which I hace downloaded for future listening pleasure, so thanks for sharing.

Paulo - thanks a lot. The oboe was actually a sample played on a keyboard. Bill Davies has a nice collection of samples like that.
