For Serious_Noize! - Strawman - Oct 2010

So yeah, some things have changed since then. Oct 2010 wasn't long after I found this community. You guys have helped me grow so much. Have any of you ever thought about doing a, somewhat regular, google hang-out to share song ideas and 'look-over-my-shoulder' tips? I think that might be fun. I'd even facilitate it for anyone interested.

Anyway, here's the song, by request. LOL

This is more classic-straight ahead rock.  Your voice is awesome.  Listened on speakers this time, it sounded like it was missing a little glue of some kind, but I can't put my finger on it!  The early rockers had this, more sparse instrumentation.  Maybe that's what you were after.  Good luck!

Thank you for your compliments. I appreciate it. I haven't sung any of this kind of stuff for a while. Would be fun to go back to it from time to time.

Thanks Man!!! Sounded GREAT!!! Although, I must say it isn't the same version I originally heard years ago. And honestly I can't believe it was 2010 when I heard it, so that is a real wakeup call for me where time goes. You have a rough analog version I think it was in 2010 sound. I liked the roughness, not the polish. LOL, I liked the song and your performance here and in the past either way. Very cool riffs and production!

Thanks for taking the time to share this, I enjoyed hearing it very much.

    Take care!

This is the only other version I remember. Minus the organ. Is this what you mean?

Liked it, vocally pretty cool, definitely nice guitar riff. For me it reminds me of early '90s hair band, maybe. Pretty sure those vocals are aided by some spandex somewhere. :)

    thanks for the share!
