For the 4th

It's a shortened version, doesn't have all of the verses.

I cranked it out this afternoon in about 2 hours. Tanton got me feeling patriotic.

Nice arrangement Robby!. I hear just a touch of distortion on a couple of mics towards the end. Not sure if it is in the raw recording or not...

It is in the recording :-( I was putting out a few too many DB. I was a good 12 to 16 inches back? And had a pop screen, just a bit too much pressure. I went back and tried to fix as I heard to, but no can do. And I had to cut the air off to sing the parts, and the house got hot FAST! So I was sweating like my ex in church.

Thanks Lynn, I'm taking some summer time vaca :-) Hopefully relaxing. And going to teach my son a few things about our founding and why we celebrate the 4th. Hopefully that won't make me a target of any 3 letter agencies...

I played it for a young lady (private screening) the other night? She thought it was sweet that I was getting so emotional? I said what do you mean? And she said, "I thought I felt a goose bump?" That's when I had to break the bad news to her...  Suffice it to say, the date was "cut short..." Not unlike what happened with that near sighted Moyle... Yokhanan "Snips" Rubenstine, I'll never forgive him.

I may try to insert the missing verse and re-release for the 4th. As for the young lady? There are other fish I guess :-( I need one with very poor eyesight who has difficulty differentiating between the real thing and the prosthetic used at the end of boogy nights...

    Hey, Robby,

Excellent job on this patriotic choral cover of the National Anthem!

The harmonies were beautiful, and I really liked the "flyover" at the end.  It felt like I was in the grandstand at a NASCAR race!

    Very nice work, brother!

Big Bad Bob, thank you sir, you know, FAA regulations are a bear! It was really tough to get those fighters to fly over at just the right moment? We had to do several takes :-)

    ---------------------------------
Just got my DAW back up and running after a week. I installed the new iLok/PACE SW and it killed all of my plugs :-( I had to fall back to a ghost copy of my C: drive from May. I didn't lose any projects, and was glad I had the ability to fall back :-) REALLY glad! Still working on one w/Mr. no999 that we've been doing for like 4 months now? We're hoping it will be done soon!

And I agree with Strummy? I will not engage it directly anymore in direct conversation, or even indirectly by name? I understand that many others choose to do so freely, and do so on a regular basis, that is their choice.

Some worked with the Nazi's in WWII? We shouldn't judge? (should we?) I'm sure they were doing what they thought was best at the time, for them and their families? Regardless what happened to others they did not care about?

But for me, I choose not to allow a single voice, speaking as multiple voices, to influence, or provoke me any further.

Others may continue to feed it at will? As it asks for food/attention? I will take a principled stand and say "no more." I wish more would join me.

Robbie, Very nicely done. Came across this trying to catch up on things I missed while on my extended vacation. Really, really nice job on those vocals and glad you were able to coordinated the Blue Angel fly over at the precise time, worked out just great. Another nice one!
