For those who skipped the NF Florida Music Sale...

Nomad's Analog Mastering Tools are also on sale for $20 over at AudioMidi.

But it gets better - using a coupon, you can take another $15 off.

That's $5 for 3 plugs. Hard to say no...

And then $99 to get whole shooting match. Seems pretty good from the planet I'm from.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it on time for that $99 sale, just for the sake of it - not that I really need all those plug-ins.

Priority right now is the license for Redline Monitor (also $99 and essential in my situation). As soon as the post-wedding/travel arrangements/plane tickets for the next few trips are bought and we can see what the budget looks like, I'll look into it.

    When does the sale end?

Where do you get this coupon from? Definitely seems hard to say no for $5. I have spilled coffee on myself I paid that much for!

    Always a pleasure.

I know what you mean. I had decided to refrain from buying for a while, furthermore considering that I'm only getting back to songwriting after over a month, and I'm having a hard time getting back into that mood. Noisy hotel rooms don't seem to help.

By some sort of coincidence, I was strumming the guitar while checking that Nomad bundle online when I stumbled upon that cool chord progression, and all the pieces fell in their right place - melody, tempo, punches and all. As if it wrote itself in the back of my head while I was struggling w/ other ideas.

My first new song in a little while, and the kind of song I was hoping to come up w/ for the project eventually. I needed one like that to really take advantage of my wife's amazing vocal range.

So I guess the deal already paid off, even if I have yet to install the actual plug-ins. :)

The deal appears to have been sold out on audiomidi.com. Any other places?

I couldn't find it when searching on AM's website (no-breainer section).....so, they must be still working on improving their new site.
    Thanks for the link...it worked!
    Is the coupon code AM15?

Rain- Glad to hear a full song came out so easily (this seems to  happen easier when I just play without "trying" to write something)...I'd like to hear your projects when you're done.

For the code, yep, that's the one. :)

I really don't like their new site - I know it's been mentioned in another thread recently. Fortunately I had the link in an e-mail - otherwise, it seems there's just no way to find the deal by using the search tool on the site.

Truth is, I hadn't come up w/ a song that easily in a long time. And I was just about to call it a day because it's been incredibly noisy here today and I couldn't concentrate. I guess next time I can't seem to find inspiration I'll just take my guitar and head down to the nearest subway station or something.

And yes, I'll certainly share that stuff with you once we start recording for the actual album, admitting that I end up handling the mixing duties. I can certainly do w/ some outside help and input. Otherwise, we'll share the finished product. :)

Stellar work! Thank you very much. I was able to use that link AND the coupon code you sent to get this for the ridiculous price of $5. Now I can put this alongside my finally finished downloading Kirk Hunter Diamond Symphony library, a new EZDrummer extension, a new Stylus RMX extension library, and my newly arrived second edition of Izhaki's mixing book and disappear all Thanksgiving.

Glad to read some positive comments. Received my info last night and installed it but haven't tried them just yet.

I'll have quite a bit of testing to do when I get back in that mode - the new Magnetic, those 3 NF plugs, RP Distort, the latest update for Valhalla reverb...

That's when I remember the old days and realize how spoiled we are in the software age...
