For you Core i7 nuts out there: i7 920 for $200

It's a crazy deal going on now at Micro Center. Keep in mind, it's for in-store pickup only, but the website lets you order & reserve yours for pickup later. The webpage will also tell you what your Micro Center location's current stock is. It seems to be updated daily (ours was out yesterday, and just now showed 29 in stock today).

    US price.. well translates to £126

    UK price for same thing.. £221 from my usual place..

    ah well my friend Ed is loaded , so he can buy me an 940 as a gift .. might as well get the more expensive one like

    Just picked one up yesterday at the Santa Ana Micro Center - good deal

    They still do 245 euros minimum here. 337 dollars. Nice diff.

    i7 920 C0 = £226.75
    i7 920 D0 = £229.05
    i7 940 = £419.95
    i7 965Extreme = £781.05

    I just upgraded from E6600 to Q9550 so won't be on the i7 bandwagon for a long time - I thought about it but the motherboards are still too dear at the moment...and none have enough of the old PCI slots on them.
