Format for signature?
I had to amend a link in my signature and after that nothing worked. The forum FAQ has a bug - only the first page is visible so clicking on a Q takes you nowhere. What's the format for putting a link and a link name in my signature? Thanks. John

Were you in the 'edit profile' section under 'User Control Panel' (above) when you tried it?

Yes, I did those. It's just the format that eludes me. I tried the format that works in other forums and it doesn't work here, for example this doesn't work: My stuff What am I doing wrong? John

John - use the icons in the window for creating the links. I don't remember the exact code, but PGD is different from the format you're entering. click on the icon with a green circle with a chain below it and a popup will give you fields to fill out for the link and the title.

Ah, here's the problem then. I have none of those icons. Here's a screenshot: http://www.skylinesongs.com/CWForum.jpg ??!?!? John

ok - I can't see your screenshot because the website is blocked from work, but most of the time the reason the icons don't show up would be because your browser is not viewing at 100% zoom level. I found mine was at 105% one time when my icons weren't showing up. I don't know which browser you're using but if it's IE then in the bottom right hand corner of the window is a magnifying glass with a percentage. if it's not exactly 100% then the icons won't show up. click on the pull down beside that % and you can change it to 100%

Thanks Beagle! You're right! What a p*** poor bit of forum software. Good news and bad news. The popup appears with two fields. The URL field works but access is blocked to the second, name, field. I'm giving up now. Life's too shoot to waste on cr*p things like this. You'd think a software company like Cakewalk would have forum software that worked - not a good advert for their products. (Hmm.... I could have a dig there.)

In the signature box (not the pop up), type the name for your URL and highlight it. Then enter the URL in that box in the pop up. The name you typed in the signature box should be your URL.
