Formatting posts on this forum

Is there a document that describes how to format posts on this forum? Specifically, how do you insert a blank line, and how do you include a hyperlink? This does not seem to be a WYSIWYG editor :) Thanks, Jonathan

It depends on which browser you use. I have found Opera works well with this forum.

    Ahhh...
Never thought of trying a different browser :)
I just assumed it would work with Firefox.  Writing this with Chrome, and all the functionality seems to work!

    Thanks.

I think Firefox may be the only one that doesn't work for some reason. Very strange. Using Chrome to access here, but I usually use Firefox for everything else.

Firefox is the one that works for me.
    (Version 3.6 - I haven't updated it for a long time).
    IE8 worked fine too.
IE9 gives me problems on this forum.

In firefox you need to use some HTML tags.  <br> is one for line breaks.  I use it when I'm using FF and too lazy to switch browsers haha

Firefox worked fine up to Version 5.0, later versions don't, it's as simple as that.

Using Chrome here & IE9 at work without problems
