Forum Name Change Proposal for CH
Due to current events and avatars consideration should be given to the name DOG HOUSE. Just seems appropriate is all.

Hmmm. I spend enough time in the doghouse in the real world - don't really want to be in the doghouse in the virtual one too ! ;) I think we all know it should really be called The Bapu House. :)

I think I'd prefer to spend some quality time in a CAT HOUSE. That may be just my preference though. I like a democracy where I'm free to sulk if I don't get my own way. So I'm easy.

I drink a lot of coffee so I would prefer the CH … but I would entertain the thought of bapu’s basement (kinda’ reminiscent of Wayne’s World). Maybe add the Dog House as another forum … and then maybe the Moderator’s could move members into the DH if their behavior warranted it or, possibly a system where other members could vote you into the DH.

It's been my experience that any new voting system usually results in me being voted off the planet. "Referendum 3296A, prohibiting door to door appendix removals after 9 PM in Dog Patch county, passed by a vote of 13 to 1. Interestingly enough, passage was uncertain until a last minute ammendment was added banning UbiquitousBubba from planet Earth. Elated citizens celebrated with extemporaneous appendix removals and excessive use of the word 'Yee-Haw!'"

I fell for that one once. I turns out that when a bunch of folks on Krypton offer to give you your own world inside a mirror, it's really a trap. While the peace and quiet was nice, I felt that existing in only 2 dimensions was rather confining. Next time, I'm planning to insist on a certain minimum number of dimensions. Oh, and a larger supply of becan...

Some of those residents have suggested the use of 3D glasses while in the 2 dimension zone, but your mileage may vary..... I've accepted my "thick boned body"/frame and use the 3D glasses wherever I go.......they all affectionately call me Heavy D and the Boyz!!

I suspected that the 3D glasses thing might work, but I didn't want to get a headache. Oddly enough, it turns out that having your head smashed into 2 dimensions is suprisingly painful. I guess I could have gone with the glasses anyway...

Gaffer tape would probably work, too. Earlier, I tried growing out my nasal hair, combing it up and tying it on a bow on top of my head. It had the added benefit of holding my glasses up. It seemed that look never really caught on. Not yet, anyway. Oh, if you try to keep your glasses on with tape, a long strip of gaffer tape (or duct tape if you don't mind losing significant amounts of skin) from your chin, over your nose, up your forehead, over the top, down the spine, and fastened off somewhere creative can be quite an effective way of keeping them on while also starting interesting conversations.

If you entered a traversable wormhole they would probably stay on your face. ...or what was left of it. On the other hand, the obvious problem with a Traversable Wormhole is that no one wants to talk about the Traversable Worm. There's all kinds of images that come to mind...

It's like chasing your own tail. Sure, it seems like a good idea at the time. It may even taste like chicken when you first bite it. Once the realization sets in, however, you may feel just a little bit foolish.
