Forum glitch - "stock avatar" images not available?

On the User Control Panel, the Edit Profile tab, the Edit Avatar section, there's a link labeled Choose a stock avatar.  When I click on it, a window pops up titled Click to select your avatar, but the window is empty and it never populates.  I've tried with IE and Chrome, but no luck.
 
Has this option worked for anyone?

    I just wanted to report that you cannot upload your own photo.  Once a photo is selected, nothing happens.

    They do know about this problem Alewgro.
     
    So far, they've done the total sum of absolutely bugger all about it for about three weeks
