Found a control bar bug in Sonar Platinum
Found a bug in Platinum but can't report it because the form hasn't been updated with Platinum as a choice. For some reason, I can't drag the modules around the control bar on my main daw. (No, Lock Module Order is NOT selected) I can on my laptop though, works as expected. On my main daw, the mouse never turns into a 4 pointed arrow. Both the desktop daw and the laptop have the same model wireless Logitech mouse installed, the mouse software is current, etc. I've never had a mouse problem with anything on my daw...

I have had problems using Logitech mouse's not only in sonar but in other applications as well.
sometimes its the Logitech software needs to be changed for different apps.
as much as I love my LT mouse, its been flaky at times with different apps.
if you can do it on your laptop but not on your other computer should tell you right there its probably something other than the application. and not a bug.

Have you tried going with the default Windows mouse driver?
I used to install the software/drivers that came with mice (mouses?) but gave up on it when I found it often interfered with other things. Microsoft got a few things right.

I have not experienced this at all. The new Control Bar is working very smoothly for me. Hiding, dragging, opening and customising various modules is all working as expected.
Perhaps there some issue with your mouse or even video drivers. There's just been a MS update round this week, perhaps there's scope to look there for the culprit too.

Reverted to generic mouse driver, no difference and video drivers are current and have been for a while.
Not a show stopper by no means, just an inconvenience...

To move a module you need to click drag the top left corner of the module. Clicking any where else drags the whole control bar. At least that is whats happening on my machines.

Ok, narrowed it down, I'm using two monitors on my daw and always have Sonar maximized on the left screen.
If I maximize Sonar across two monitors, same issue, no drag.
If I maximize it on the right screen, I can drag the modules around so it has something to do with the monitor management software.
Hmmmmm............

I have hard time imagine what the code should be so monitor management produce that effect.
But the effect is quite easy to produce inside the application. I would recommend just submit bug report. By some combination of settings in you display configuration you probably can influence the bug, but since it is not really disturbing for you, why spend time...
But do not forget to mention all technical details in your report, including exact hardware model, the driver version, monitor resolutions and all multi-monitor related settings.

My monitor management software allows me to set up the screens so the taskbar only appears one one monitor, in my case, the right monitor.
That is why I run Sonar maximized on the left screen, max real estate space without a collapsible taskbar popping up if I bring the mouse to close to the edge.
It may be task bar related...

Solved - If I enable the taskbar on both monitors, everything works as expected.
If I set the taskbar to only be available on one monitor, can't drag modules within the control bar if Sonar is using the monitor without a task bar.
(This has nothing to do with the auto-hide taskbar)

I'm place 50/50 odds on whether this is Sonar or monitor management software confusing Sonar. I'd be surprised if Sonar gave a damn where the Windows taskbar ends up. What is the monitor management software exactly?

Hmmmm last update was over two years ago... https://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/download.asp I would uninstall that software and to see if it works as expected... You can then reinstall it later if you wish. Also update to the latest ATI card drivers. Cheers..

I'm still interested to know what happens if anything when you remove ultramon (did you miss this?).
