Free AutoTune?

Does anyone know of any free AutoTune plugins for MC5? I love the sound of AutoTune but the only plug in I could find was $150. And there is no way I'm playing that much.

there's a free pitch shifter called g-snap (google it) but I would be surprised if it will make you sound like t-pain or whatever his name is.

$150 is actually cheap for what I have seen, and what I have....

you get what you pay for...generally

AutoTune, Melodyne or any pitch-shifter does not have any sound when
used correctly. They are made to correct off-key notes or change the key.

They can be used to create audio artefacts, though, when used "wrongly".  I don't know if all pitch-shifters can produce
the AutoTune effect.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

No it does... this might not be the best example but i like the electronic sounds kinda like this.......http://www.youtube.com/wa...74E0    And auto tune gets me pretty close to that sound.

Kalle,  I believe you can manipulate the formants in Melodyne to create the autotuned effect. someone in the songs forum did that recently...about 3 months back.... and it sounded pretty good, if you're into that sort of effect. They mentioned that they had to work each note, one by one to get it right....and it was a time consuming process.  I followed the instructions and sure enough it can be done..... not that I would want to use it, but it is possible.

Hey The1Thing!

Check out some of these:

Try PitchWorx, AAS Autotune, 4BandShifter, Spectral Monkey and Gsnap Autotune.  I believe all those are from Wavosaur.  I had that list from a while back as "plugins to check for Autotune (free)."  Maybe something there will help.  Price is right  :-)
