Free - D. Smolken's Double Bass for Kontakt

D. Smolken was kind enough to allow me to create a Kontakt 5 instrument using his excellent double bass samples. You can find the samples along with SFZ mappings and lots of info and demos at

Here is the Kontakt 5 instrument (you need the latest version)

It has 5 keyswitches:
F4 is Arco (Bowed) Up, G4 is Arco (Bowed) down, F#4 Arco Effects such as creaks, groans and harmonics (he really sampled this bass)
A4 is Pizzicato (Plucked) with four round robins. G#4 is the Pizzicato Effects.

The original samples are © 2013 D. Smolken. This multisampled double bass by D. Smolken is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License. Consider this Kontakt version to be the same.

    I'm not sure, but I think you may have missed the gist of yorolpal's sense of humor there bigcat. He might have been jivin' ya' there a little bit.
     
    Normally, an audio demo is offered to try out something first before parting with any
    hard-earned spondulicks.
     
    Naturally this offer is free, making the requested audio demo redundant, so therein lies the humor, [unless I be mistaken, of course  ].

    Wull gush durn it, it might be the old aspbergurs kickin in again. ;P  Think of me as Sheldon Cooper, but as a college and life drop out, and it will explain a few eccentricities and missing some jokes.
    I should make the instruments free and charge for the audio demos!
