Free Drum Kit sounds
Sonar X64 You need to sign up, to get to the download. Even if you dont have a 64 bit processor, They have Velocity Banks for a free seperate download. (it's a set of drum WAVs seperated into kits). Some nice sounds in there. Fire up Cyclone (or your favorite drum kit maker), make a kit with the wavs, and off to the races. Zep--

Question - is there an easy / quick way to set these up as GM drum kit (ie) Session Drummer triggering Battery , other than manually changing all the midi notes from each sample to make a kit?
I got my first kit mapped last night into battery, but it did take some time

Well, sonar 64 comes with the Velocity DXI..so I just basicaly loaded the preset kits. then tweaked the presets by listening to the wavs to find sounds I liked.
As far as the MIDI track, I believe you can Select all notes of a certain "key" then move them all up or down the scale as needed.

I do not have a 64 bit processor. I think mine is only 62.5.
Thus I did not load X64, I only took the drum samples.
Still a very good free download.

I had trouble with the lyrics, the vocals were a bit down in the mix. And I would pan them more center. The drums had too much reverb... WHY IS THIS ON THE SONGS FORUM!!?? And without an "OT" in front of it??

Is it a Rolex or a Cartier? If Cartier, I will take two. If you have a Tag in there, I would like one of the waterproof to 30,000 foot depth versions. I agree with Robby... the lyrics are weak, there is no melody and the chords are dissonant. (speaking of 30,000 feet below the sea, why was this dredged up, and why is it in the song forum?)
