Free TH2 Producer Content Pack
Received an email from calkwalk saying I can download a FREE TH2 Producer content pack. I went to my account as instructed and downloaded the file, unzipped it, etc. but I keep getting a message saying Windows doesn't know which program to open the file with. OK, I'm not a computer expert. Anyone know how to open this content pack? Thanks!

For those X2 users that do not get CW email, check your store account for new TH2 presets and IRs

hmm... Is this time limited? Says now through Dec 31. If it is I'm gonna have to remember to snag it as soon as I'm set up. I'm also wondering whether those presets and IRs are stuff already in the full version. Man... I miss my DAW. I really gotta get this place cleaned up.

The names on the IRs do not match anything in the full version. As far as the presets, there are just so many in the full version I cannot say for certain but I believe they are unique. As far as the time limit, I believe that means you have to have a valid X2 license before Dec 31 to get the download, just like all the other time limited content club stuff.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking all around. I should be up and running in a couple weeks anyway. Just gotta remember it's there. I should probably go get some work done... but I'm getting pretty burnt.

Probably been asked before, butI cannot find it..............I have seen players live (on TV but live) using laptops and guitar rig pro, and others. I tried to watch very closely for any delay. The picking seemed right on. Is this doable? Or is it-you can get real close but not all the way.

Can you save these presets in TH2. I load them, write them, when I x out, they are gone when I open it back up. Must be a way to save, just not finding one tonight.

@LANEY... I've been using the traditional Save feature for my presets because I find the TH2 bank crud to be weird and confusing. At the top of the TH2 window beside the little disk icon type in the name you want, click the disk icon and it's saved. Then you can just recall it by opening that directory instead of screwing around with the TH2 bank system. I will eventually learn how to use it efficiently because I don't like admitting defeat but that just works and is easy. Cheers.

The manual says to click the write button. It then asks if I want to write it. When I close TH2 and open it the preset is gone name and all. Stand alone is where I am mainly working. Just tried it in the plug-in and it worked and saved just fine by writing it. Kept the names and all. Opened it, deleted it, and opened it back up and it was there. Is this a bug or the way it works in the stand alone. The number color of the preset changes from blue to orange but the names don't stay in the name area.

Yes 57Kb. Edit: Previously reported incorrect size, I had included the video into my version of the preset zip file. Sorry for the confusion it may have caused.

Laney, these are for TH2 Producer (assuming you are running X2 Producer). They do not load properly in the full version of TH2.

@LANEY... The manual is kind of whack... as is much of how TH2 is set up. Seriously I'd just save it using the disk icon. It's far simpler to write and retrieve presets that way. Not sure if that works in the standalone though. Might just be when using it as a plugin. Cheers.

Yes, I have successfully saved and retrieved presets.... I find their' interface a bit uncomfortable, but some of the amp work quite good... To save presets you have to use the search button, then change to user presets, then select a preset number and finally press save... Keni
