Free Track icons for Soft Synths NEW ICONS ADDED PER REQUESTS LINK UPDATED
I made some track icons today for the synth squad synths and when i finished decided to make icons for all the included sonar synths and fx's and most of the popular synths right now to share with the sonar community since most that i found were outdated. I have included all of my favorite synths, all the synths that come included with X1 and most of the one's I here people talking about. They are 128x128 bmp's and are ready to load into sonar. I have made a few different versions of the synths i own NI komplete stuff, spectrasonics, and Synth squad because i like variety. I hope you guys find them useful and if there are any missing you would like to see let me know and I will try to create them. let me know if you guys want to see any other synth icons and ill add them to the link. I figure it will be nice to have a complete database of soft synth icons for sonar users. Also please let me know if any aren't working out and i will figure out another version for those.

you can really put them anywhere on your computer. mine are on my sample drive in the cakewalk content folder because i moved it from the c drive. It really doesn't matter though when you click on the icon to load icon you can import them from anywhere. To make things easy put them with the cakewalk track icons which by default ends up on your system drive in the content folder. c/cakewalk content/sonar x1 producer/track icons. I keep mine in a seperate folder in the track icons folder mainly so they are easy to find. to load them on to a track double click the icon on the mixer and by default it will open up the track icons folder- pick your icon-done

I downloaded this free .RAR extractor called 7-zip file manager. After that you can put them in your icon folder as sykodelic mentioned.
