Free timbales for KONTAKT
A good sample set of timbales with plenty of ring can be tough to find. The other day we were recording a bunch of live percussion, and took the opportunity to sample the timbales, which are LP Matador Series 14" and 15" steel sheel timbales. You can download the patches for Kontakt here. Enjoy!

Hey, these sound pretty good! I've never thought of putting a flanger or Leslie on timbales before. For that matter, I've not used timbales much at all. So thanks again, Greg, not only for the samples but also for the creative nudge.
