Free video recording program?

I`ve been searching a bit for an free program so I can add video to my music. I want to cut and syncronize several different clips to one audio track. I find Windows Movie Maker kind of hard to work with...
 
Anyone has any good tips for a free video edit program?

    I've been very satisfied with the stupidly named HitFilm 4 Express. https://hitfilm.com/express a very good and steady software.

    I use Lightworks it's a bit confusing at first but can do most of the stuff the paid programmes can
