Freeze up during mixdown

Ok, guys now I'm sure someone has had this problem...., tried using the vintage 64 Comp on my acoustic guitar tracks, it freezes on mixdown, thinking now, I guess I can apply effect and save track??, but is there anyway around this?

    Hi RJ.
     
    Are you by any chance running the 64bit version of X1?
     
    I may be wrong, but I think there is only a 32bit version of the VC-64 Compressor, so it will be running in X1 64bit under Bitbridge.
     
    I've had the mixdown/export problem myself with Bitbridged VST's. I know it was something to do with Bitbridge because I got the familiar 'Teleport Server has stopped working' message.
     
    You may have to apply the effect or switch to 32bit X1 if you want to be able to adjust the plug-in later in your project.
     
    If anyone knows if there is a 64bit version available, do you know how to download/find it?
