I suppose you are talking about "freezing" a track of MIDI notes that are being sent to an external synth w/ Keyboard?  If that is the case you simply play back the MIDI to the synth and record the audio out of the synth.  There is no nothing to Freeze - that is for soft synths or internal digital effects.

If that ain't the problem, let us know, more specifically, what it is you are trying to accomplish.

You have to route the MIDI signals to a Soft Synth (like Dimension Pro). That Synth can be freezed. You can’t freeze external gear, because the DAW is not able to calculate the resulting audio in advance. The only way would be to actually record the external Synth and you use the resulting wav as your “freezed MIDI” – if you need the external signal. That’s the way I do polyphonic phrases with my monophonic synth…
If your Keyboard is used as a multitimbral General MIDI device (you have different sounds on different MIDI-Channels) than you can use the TTS-1 plug-in which do the very same.
