Freezing synth & Mono tracks

I am using Session Drummer 3 for a drum kit, having some trouble with another synth so was trying to freeze this one.  Output is to separate instruments such as kick, snare, ride, etc.  When freezing synth, it converts each output to a stereo track.  How do I get it to freeze to a mono track, so I don't have to convert each one to mono after the fact?

Second issue -- when I convert to a mono track, it craps out when I try to listen -- get a sound glitch then silence.  If I close Sonar then re-open (having saved the project), then it plays fine.  Then I convert the next track to mono -- same thing.  Suggestions?  I'm still using X1 Producer Expanded, have X2 but haven't had the chance to install and adapt to the upgrade.

That's decided on the Synth Audio track for each kick , snare, etc. If you set the synth audio track interleave to mono Prior to bouncing, the resulted bounced track will be mono. Hope that helps! :) Not sure on the second issue... sorry...X1 is very unpredictable.
