Fresh Install of Platinum after MB failure--need advice on older Cakewalk FXs to include

I am preparing to do a fresh install of Platinum on a new DAW/Windows 8.1 (64bit). My old motherboard (Gigabyte) died and I got a new ASUS and new processor; so, I am buiding from scratch on a fresh set of HDs. Instead of installing every Cakewalk product I have owned since 1993, I plan on just installing Platinum, but then add any "missing" programs from past generations of Sonar. I do not need to cluter the C drive with old programs that are no logner used, but I seem to remember that there are a few old gems from past versions of Sonar that are no longer included in Platium.
I need advice on the following:

What effects, vst's, dxi's etc are not included in Platinum but were included in Cakewalk Pro Audio 3-9, and Sonar 3-X3? (I won't even ask about Cakewalk 3--ha, ha)

What programs (like mp3 lame, or  V-Vocal) should I go back and install from older versions of Sonar that are not found in Platinum?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

As you are building from the beginning you will probably want to put on Windows 10 assuming drivers are compatible.

Process...
Install Win8.
Update with Win10 (do not boot off setup DVD, run from windows).
Boot from Setup DVD, format partition You now have clean Windows 10.
Ideally clone to an external hard drive with acronis at this stage.

I also assume you will have a backup strategy like an external hard drive and acronis.
Cheers...

Yes I have Acronis, and also multiple clones of all drives.  I am however only going to Win 8.1, and will wait until Win 10 drivers are available for all my products.

Yes, I just saw that other thread.  Thanks.  Yes, I know how to install FXs from older Sonar version, but would still like to know which ones were not continued (included) in Platinum.

Thanks

The other thread has a link the plug-in information back to SONAR 8, the Platinum details are here http://www.cakewalk.com/D...p;help=Comparison.html

Thanks Scook for post links.  This does help, especially the thread with the comparisons back to v8.

I also found there the link to an excell spreadsheet comparing versions from Sonar3 to X3--this is what I really needed.  Thanks again.
