Frozen Synth Doesn't Appear Frozen, Still Shows MIDI?

Why does it appear that sometimes I cannot properly freeze my synths?  I am using ZETA+2 and have frozen it in my current project - it shows as frozen in the synth rack, but the track itself still shows as MIDI.

I sure hope we get an "E" patch because Sonar sure has a lot of annoying bugs.

Phonic - I'm guessing my response is too remedial here, but have you just tried right clicking on the midi track itself and selecting freeze? That's my frequent workflow method. Always works in my case.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.
