Full Key Bindings List for X1D Needed
If there's a place where all the updated key bindings are listed I can't find it. It sure would be helpful to be able to get that, especially after all of these updates since X1... the key bindings card that came with my discs is obsolete practically. Cakewalk staff: Could you create a place to download an excel file or something of the sort with all the updated key bindings, and even remind us where that is when we update? That would be sweet! Thanks everyone.

When you installed X1D (as with any update), you were given the options to Launch the program and View the Help File. You can save the help file as whatever format you want, if I am not mistaken. I just save all of them in folder as a rich text for quick reference.

No... unfortunately it didn't. I did read the document but it only listed improvements and changes and THE ADDITION of new key bindings, but not a total list.
It just seems logical that that would be available somewhere.

does X1 software itself have such a single comprehensive all-inclusive listing of all keybindings as of X1d?

Don't know if we will get it, but a .pdf file with all the keybindings would be really useful! :)

I suppose the sonar help file is updated with this info (Help-Keyboard Shortcuts), as I found some new entries such as ctrl+w, ctrl+shift+i, etc.. listed there.
Since I use very little shortcuts, can someone verify if this is indeed the full list ?

Yeah...I spoke without thinking too much here, but the read me file does include the new bindings and I need to check and see if the list was updated in the help file. I would think it wouldn't take much to transfer them from the help file into a Xcel sspreadsheet? Maybe...just taking a stab...I have a rediculous memory when it comes to patterns and numbers so keybindings bind to my brain!

+1 - This would be great to have. I actually took the time (way back in SONAR 6 days) to extract, assemble and print all the shortcuts available at that time. I still use it now and then out of my "handy" studio quick reference binder.

I exported all the key bindings from the help pdf file to an Excel doc (2 pages of it) which i wiil update when back home. Tedious but didn't take that long....
If anyone wants a copy, PM me. But i m away for 2weeks.

the SOANR help file connected to X1D has a section for what's new in X1D, What's new in SONAR X1 Expanded and so on so it seems logical to conculde that the Keybindings section has been updated with all the latest changes,
from the quick look I had prompted by this thread it seems to be updated.
So just press F1 go to the Index tab and look for Keyboard shortcuts. There are several pages.
I have formatted a MS-Word docx that has 7 Landscape pages that you can print and laminate (which is what I do) and keep with your gear for a ready reference. Its the quickest way of learning them that I've found. If someone wants an email or can host them for download just let me know.
