Nice..... that song takes me back to when Al Green was "THE MAN" ... I was in the USMC and some of the guys played Al's music all the time..... nice job...

nice dan! taking a stab at a song like this, is not for the faint of heart. mix wise, i'd add some high end and crisp up the voice a bit, it's kinda muddy... in balance the elec guitar (great playing) is a bit too hot in the high end, during the regular verses.... the mix sounds bit flat all the way across.... not much thump, not much midrange clarity, not much high end, except on the reverb tail of the snare (?) but other than mix thingys, a great version of a killer song.

Dan,
Great vocals and performance. I enjoyed this greatly. I do agree with Bat though that the mix just had an overall flatness to the sound.

+1 to the above. The mix is a bit "flat" and perhaps a little too "down the middle", but the performance is great! Vocals, horns, everything. Where are the backup vocals from? Because if that's you, well...

Wow. The performances are terrific, vocals are sweet. Are any of those instrument tracks sw or samples? The mix could be wider I suppose, but this is excellent 'as is' imho.
