    Hot Dog!!
My O'My this is awesome.  Listening on ear buds at work.  Everything sounds very clear and distinguishable.  Love the VOX, Bass and lead gtr.

    Two comments:
    1) At the end of the 9th measure I heard what sounded like a guitar glitch.

    2) At the bridge the drum groove starts at a specific volume then cuts back in volume within the 1st measure.  Is this on purpose?

    Otherwise sounds great.

Man this song is killer. Very punchy and crisp. Bass and percussion sound tight. Rythym guitar is punctual and then driving. Love the tone for this song. Venus your Vox sound fantastic and the tone of your vox fits this stlye like a glove. Break down into the solo is great and Mark nails the perfect solo for this tune.

Way back... when we worked on "World" I commented to you that I'd really like to hear you "cut loose" with your vocals.  "World" was more of a subdued and tender love song without a lot of room to "cut loose"...... I think you nailed it here.

I love to hear you let it all loose.

Listening on the computer speakers, and it sounds full and punchy, the guitars are excellent.

    I think y'all have found a groove....

The vocals sound a little like a Heart tune.  Well done to both of you.  And how can you not dig Wessels rockin' out?  This song will get you started in the morning.

Daryl, you are right I agree there are elements that do sound like Heart.  My first impression when I heard this was it reminded me of Gwen Stefani.  Dena's voice also reminds me of Amiee Mann, former lead singer of Til Tuesday.  Yeah, I still like 80's music.  Just my 2¢

Tight production. Cool tune. Great playing and singing. Vocals sound a little high endy to me but i don't really know how to mix this genre. Solid rockin' fun.

Hey Dena thanks for posting this.  Thanks everyone for the compliments.  It was a huge honor to be included on this project and I hope to get to do more with these fine musicians.

I think the lead guitar may be a little over-processed and thin sounding compared to the original, but that's just my opinion.  Otherwise the mix sounds great.  I like what you ended up with on the bridge.

Reminds me a lot of No Doubt, so much so that if somebody told me it was I would probably believe them. Only listening on lappy but it all sounds good to me.

This was a lot of fun.  I'm still waiting for the mastered copy.  Mark Wessels kicked butt and did it in, I think, 1 take.  Glad his shoulder is better.  That man can rip!!  Dena and Will are fun.  There's more out there from this summer's frolics!!

    Well this kicked tail.
The only nit I have would be with the ending, where everything sounds like it runs into itself.
But that is a small nit.

Excellent track! I don't think there's a comparison to the above metioned but slight similarities as to the genre.

The second chord (or third depending on how you look at it) has a problem. It could be soundcloud or in the mix.

    I love this tune!
