    Great news Bill

Leave GT2 on your PC even if you're not planning on using it mate - the effects/processors etc that bundled with GT2 will still be available to you in GT3 (Audio Effects>Cakewalk) should you need them.

Also, just be aware that projects created in GT2 will open in GT3 but not the other way round. In other words, if you have a GT2 project that you want to play around with in GT3, once you save it and close GT3, you won't be able to open it in GT2 as a project again.

What I did when I first got GT3 was to import all my GT2/GTPro2 projects and save them in GT3 under a different name so I could then work on the project in either.

    Steve

I looked for revalver from GT2 in the effects in GT3 but didn't see them. Also When I installed GT3 I got a message saying my soundcard needed to be re-somethinged that GT3 only recognized WDM . I don't know what that means. There weren't any messages from GT2. The sound I got with the Marshall and Yamaha keyboard was fine for me.
I've tried to get the VST's from the sites you posted but only a few are recognized.

    Hi Bill

Don't ask me why but the Revalver VST shows up (in my GT3) by right clicking in an FX bin and choosing DXi Effects instead of VST - it's listed as 'Alien Connections ReValver SE' in there.

As to the VST's - first make certain you've unzipped all the files you've downloaded then you have to manually scan the folders they have been unzipped to with the VST Adapter.

You'll probably have to scan the Revalver folder with the VST Adapter Bill.

First off, get the update patch for the Adapter HERE and install it.

Now the VST Adapter will appear in GT3's Tools menu as the VST Configuration Wizard

Thanks Steve , I had forgot about what you had already told me. Do you think I should re-install both GT Pro 2&3?

I wouldn't mate - the VST adapter patch is just an update, it shouldn't require you to reinstall either GT.

Also as a reminder there is a newer version of the VST adapter patch. The latest is version 4.5.3.157, below is the link.
