GTPro 4: No Process>Audio>Reverse?

Hi Gang,

I'd like to reverse a clip so it plays backwards, and Help says to do so by selecting Process>Audio>Reverse. But my Process menu only includes:

Apply Audio FX
Audio FX
Apply MIDI FX
MIDI FX
Quantize
Groove Quantize
Transpose
Slide
Nudge
Interpolate
Length
Scale Velocity
Retrograde
Deglitch
Fit to Time
Fit Improvisation

There's no plain "Audio" to select further options from.

What gives?

Many thanks,
Richard

Try Retrograde. By definition, that is a reverse motion, and it may be what you are after.

Thanks Robert, I tried but that's not it, unless I am doing it wrong; selecting a piece of the track and doing Process>Retrograde. For that matter, Retrograde and Scale Velocity don't even appear in the Help topics. Strange that Audio isn't available on the Process menu; this is a factory fresh version of GTP4 from Musiciansfriend.com.

    Many thanks,

    Hey Robert,

I got a reply from the Tech Support gurus---apparently there is no such function in GTP4; lord knows why not because it's handy, fun, and appears in the previous version. Not to mention that it appears and is explained in GTP4 Help. They directed me to a plugin called Reversinator, which is helpful, but it doesn't actually reverse the clip, but rather it semi-reverses incoming audio a note at a time. So it doesn't quite cut it. I suppose I can try flying the selections into GTP3, reversing them, saving them and flying them back to GTP4.  Sigh.

If anybody else has a more practical and satisfying sonic solution please weigh in, much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Richard

Nope, nothing for Retrograde, Interpolate or Scale Velocity--weird!
