GUITAR CENTER $100 OFF COUPON

So I had komplete 8 on order with a sugary h20 dealer , and received n email for 100 off 499 or more GC.
Cancelled the order with them and ordered it from GC and even with tax still got it for 60 dollars cheaper.

I was a little surprised the took 100 off the komplete 8 hd upgrade which has a MAP of 499 , but it went through.

I have to wait until the 9th of September before it ships but to save bucks yes...

well thats what surprised me about the Komplete 8 purchase, I even called a CSR to verify it ...

I've been waiting for them to do a 15% across the board discount again for quite some time but none of the big 3 seem to be doing that anymore. The deals they have been giving don't even add up to 10% most of the time which is joke IMO because most will give you that regardless of a sale, especially over the phone as apposed to in the store.

That $100 off is a good deal as long as you use it on the lower end of the $499 and above scale. The higher the item, the less of a discount it becomes. They do that so you think you're getting a good deal on a $2,000 amp when in reality it's only a 5% discount at that point. You could get them to do better than that just by calling them on the phone and haggle with them.

Just got a Guitar Center flier in the mail today ... there's a 15% off coupon inside for a single item of $299 or more. I just looked on their web site and it's not listed there but I see the $100 off deal.

I have a Mesa Dual Rectifier 2 x 12 100W Tube Combo I've been thinking of selling to get some stuff for my studio. It's 15 years old and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. I should be able to get some decent change for it. Gonna do it one of these days.
