GUITAR HEAVEN in . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Chicago!

If you love vintage guitars/bass/drums then you need to visit . . . Chicago Music Exchange.   It's funny how most Chicago muscians don't even know about this place.  I took this video and felt that you guitar/bass/drum players might enjoy this eye candy. . . "GUITAR HEAVEN!"

This is a must see stop if your ever in Chicago because the video doesn't do the place justice!

ENJOY!
Kev

Mebee I missed it but I did not see one Alembic Bass. That place is for losers.

Hey, you are correct I didn't see a Alembic Bass.  I guess I was wrong about Guitar Heaven!
They do have 1 of 7 basses from Spinal Tap.  The Derek Small's B.C. Rich Bich Double-Neck 4x8 String Bass.  Yours for the small price of $25,000.00 and thats no joke!

Nice job Kev! (A little heavy on the movement, but the presentation overall was great.)

I am one of those Chicago area people, that knows about this place, but (ahem) have never been there. Kind of shameful actually when you see the great stuff shown in your video. I'll make it one of these days.

Did you happen to see how they take down the guitars on the upper tier?

    Broken pencils are pointless.

    Hey Ken
I'll give you big props, at least you have heard of the place.    Every now and then you can see a Home Depot wooden ladder zoom by.  When I was walking around they told me please play.   No, guitar is off limits.  I played a 1957 Fender Strat 2 Tone Sunburst priced at  $31,995.00 .  A Epiphone Acoustic Texan Sunburst 1961 priced at $5,995.00 . The stories some of those guitars could tell if only they could talk.  Just a very cool place!
