A safe place on the internet where I can vent everything I hate and disdain about GOT and the moderators wont delete the thread, and the other forum users will actually bother to read my post.
First off: The Three Eyed Raven! Please kill this idiotic character.
2nd: The Mother of All Dragons! Please kill this idiotic character.
3rd: The King of The North! Please kill this idiotic character.
4th: Little Finger! Please torture this idiotic character.
5th: Sanza! Please kill this idiotic character.
6th: Jamie! Please chop off his other hand, and both feet, cut out his tongue and bury him alive. We will just assume you've killed that idiotic character.
7th: Cercie! She can remain queen. She and Briane of Tarth? Targ? whatever... Spend the rest of this season and all of your last stupid season with these two characters having a ton of sex.
As for the one with a hit list.. Arya Stark - Plz, KILL!! This idiotic character.

For me, having read all the books before it became a series I love to see how they handle the stuff in the books you just know they won't do on film.
For example, Tyrion actually loses his nose in the book, he did not just get a "flesh wound" of a scar.

As to things that are different, it's my recollection that Brienne was hanged in the fifth book. Am I not remembering that correctly? She is definitely still alive and kicking in the current series which is past anything in the published books.

Love GoT, but it's been ruined since Season 5. Once the viewership exploded into an event, and the politics and FX money came pouring in, it got watered down, boring and rushed just like all of network TV. Now, you get stupid plot WTF's like Jaime falling into a river in the middle of a battle with armor on, and he just pops up with his buddy downstream a bit where no one can see them - because armor floats and soldiers can't see past 50 feet away. Mostly because we're in too much of a hurry to get to the next overly packed and rushed scene so we can hurry up and get to the special FX.
I watch it only because I'm invested in the story at this point. That, and maybe the Khaleesi will get nakie one more time...

And really... we've pretty much seen it all at this point so I'm okay with that. She is an extremely healthy young lady. Her character is straight up hardcore too. Her actions on screen have even occasionally choked me up. Freeing slaves? You go gurl!
