Geez... another issue

Im trying to set up a synth rack for my midi drum tracks so i can dump them to audio (this looks like what im supposed to be doing) reading through the directions, when i go to set the options, i set the rewire device to giga3, click on first synth output (audio), then set click on Synth property page, fine and dandy, then i hit OK and i immediately get a full system reboot... my system is a p4 2.6 hyperthread machine, just completely redone with a fresh Xp pro install.

anybody seen this and have any info on how to fix this?

disheartened.

    Hi, kess,

    I have GS3 and Sonar 3PE.

You're probably aware that earlier versions of GS3 did not work with hyperthreading enabled. This actually caused me to rebuild my machine with the HT disabled; but, supposedly, the most recent version (or maybe most recent 2 versions) now work with HT enabled.

Okay, so that's no. 1: Make sure your version of GS3 works with HT enabled by downloading the most current version of GS3 from the Tascam website. Those earlier iterations would not run *at all* with HT enabled.

    Perhaps that's your issue?
