George Benson - "On Broadway" (phenomenal live version)
Benson was in the audience in 2009 when Mark Whitfield asked him to come up and play a song with the band. So he borrow's Whitfield's guitar (a solid body with single coils mind you) and playing with a band he had never played with before, proceeds to take the roof off the place. This is what music is all about. Easily one of the top 5 live music videos I've ever seen, and absolutely the best I've ever heard Benson play or sing. (His scat singing is unbelievable.)

He is good. Anyone who doesn't love this isn't worthy to be called a musician. Or a human.

He still looks and sounds great! I wish they would've thrown in "Give Me The Night" too. JB

Outstanding! Never seen it. Thanks for sharing. The only downside is that my dogs are having to wait another 10 minutes for a neighborhood walk. I'm dancing, and they've got their legs crossed. Hey, it's Friday. Gimme a break.

Coincidentally, I've been hearing GB and This Masquerade and Downtown all week in my head. Makes me wish this computer had sound.

Ok, I get your point. Happy to still be a musician then. As my friends will attest, me being human is dodgy at best.

That's for sure. And for nonmusicians, perverts, and general creeps there's always electronica and lynyrd skinhead.

You've described me to a T, apart from the Lynyrd Thingy bit.

I liked "Sweet Home Alabama". Ed was no George Benson, but he had his moments.
