Nice track, but no, it doesn't sound like ZZ Top to me either. I used to play some of their songs in a band years ago. I kind of lost interest in them after Deguello. Their sound went to hell after that album.

Sorry to nitpick, but the drums sound painfully overcompressed to me. I love the "up" vibe though, and the athletic guitar playing.

Hmmm... sort of sounds like ZZ (or more specifically Billy) doing metal to me.  Maybe it's more the vibe and the vocals than the actual guitar playing. Either way, I liked it.
