Getting Snapping to stick?

Hi,

Each time I set my snapping to 1/16, do my editing and when I come back later to edit another MIDI clip, the snapping is back to 1/8.  How do I make it stick to the last setting I used?

Right-click on it and disable "Smart Grid."

That one annoyed me till I figured it out. Or was it Scook who gave me the answer?

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.
