Yes.  Super choppy.  I'm still troubleshooting though.  For me, the first thing I've noticed is that proc 1 (or proc 0 if you're being picky) is just pegged!

Same project I was working on night before last with no problems.

This project:  1 instance of Omnisphere 2 with three patches loaded, 1 instance of EZDrummer, 1 instance of Pianoteq, 1 vocal track with Izotope Nectar 2, SIR2 with a EMT reverb loaded.  Like I said, no issues two nights ago.

I'm wondering if a setting got changed somewhere?

EDIT:  I'm an idiot.  I was going through each track trying to figure out what was causing the spike.  Then I switched to console view.  I forgot I'd loaded Ozone on a bus.  Anyway--bypass Ozone and the pops went away.  I don't usually load Ozone until I have the synth tracks rendered and the mix pretty much done and I can't even remember now why I loaded it so early at all--probably checking something or other.

Yes ! Can't figure it out, I'll get the occasional "audio drop out" message and have been meaning to delve into fixing that but with this latest update I'm getting slammed with pops, drop out error messages, having to restart the audio engine, etc...I also did not have this problem 2 days ago.  Another glitch I've noticed is when I go to use the prochan on the master bus my mouse pointer disappears and I have to Ctr+Alt+Del to shut down the program, no keyboard controls work either. Both problems in the last 2 days with the latest update.

While doing dev debugging it is common for me to hold up code execution wile stalling it all to step through code or leave the stalled code to take the dog out to pee for example. This naturally causes a audio engine stop but since the 06 update when I load a test file then without running the transport, tweak a console view volume slider the first time, I am getting a dropout toaster. I thought, great, now what? And bugged it up to look at that later. Gosh maybe it's not me this time.

Just spent two whole days with 06 and some very heavy mix/master plugs and no sign of anything like this. Running faultlessly at the moment touch wood !!Hope you guys work it out. Melodyne is one thing I don't use until they get it sorted. Or if I do, it's one small clip at a time, and it's bounced to clip immediately. No other issues with 06. Dave.

    Hi

I had audio drops and slow startup and missing notes on chords

I had Platinum and Professional loaded by cakewalk  Command centre.

I thought why can't I drop Professional as I do not need it.
    I got suspicious.

I then Uninstalled Sonar Pro and Platinum and registry values for the shell of the program ,not all the content,Vst's etc. I also had Sonar X3 buried In the registry and deleted that as per Instructions.
Somewhere on this site It tells you how to uninstall and put back a fresh install.

I did this and everything Is running 100%

Also check the Usb lead from the sound Interface to the computer as that can mess things up.
I also purchased a new usb lead £14 to be sure  and now I am on Fire!!!

    All the best
    John

*update* Deleted ASIO4all, nixed some start up programs from the cue, went into AIRPLANE mode on the wifi, and lo and behold...no drop outs on my project that was giving me greif.

Took a while of reading through many posts here to figure some of this stuff out.
